GO Sport stores need no introduction. Known to all retail outlets, located in many Polish cities, can boast of an extremely extensive range. Crossing the threshold of GO Sport is connected with entering the world of passion, motivation and determination – the world of sport

The possibility of working with such a popular brand was a real honor for us. From the very beginning, we were guided by the idea of creating a pleasant, bright lighting effect. The awareness of how many customers visit GO Sport stores motivated Greenie Polska employees to use their qualifications to the highest possible degree. With this in mind, we visited the GO Sport store in the Blue City Shopping Center in Warsaw.

Audit

Professional engineers, with the eye of a specialist, inspected the interior of the store and made the necessary measurements. In addition to being guided by their own observations, they thoroughly familiarized themselves with the client’s expectations, so that the final effect would satisfy both parties. Only a thoroughly performed lighting audit can be a solid foundation in starting a fruitful cooperation. After the audit, the employees of Greenie Polska were ready to create a project in the proven Dialux system. This project allowed for competent planning of the installation, so that it could be carried out efficiently, and the effect not only satisfied the customer, but also met the applicable legal standards. An additional advantage of such visualization is the possibility for the contractor to preview the plans. Only after his approval, employees of Greenie Polska can start modernizing the lighting.

Implementierung

We agreed that the optimal solution for the GO Sport showroom would be the use of reflectors. The ability to easily move around makes them ideal for changing displays. Shop windows were equipped with a total of 80 1-phase track lights, while the aisles were illuminated with 15 HighBay lamps. The Epistar COB diodes used in the headlamps made it possible to obtain a highly focused beam of light combined with a lifetime of up to 40,000 hours.

In turn, HighBay industrial lamps are products designed to work in difficult conditions. What makes them even more attractive is the high luminous efficiency that allows to obtain the appropriate luminous intensity using a small number of lamps. This saves on installation costs. Philips diodes, guaranteeing a lower decrease of the luminous flux, provide HighBay lamps with an advantage over standard metal halide and sodium lamps. In turn, modern heat sinks used in Greenie products ensure proper heat collection and dissipation. Thanks to this type of lighting, footwear, clothing, accessories and sports equipment have been very aesthetically displayed, and the costs of electricity consumption have significantly decreased.

Standards

The lighting standards for the store are 300 lux per m2. After the modernization carried out by Greenie Polska, they were met with more than twice the reserve. Thanks to this, the comfort of working in the GO Sport store has been significantly improved. The sports lounge staff gained improved and healthier conditions for the eyesight, which significantly influenced their well-being and efficiency. The modernization of the lighting provided the employees of the GO Sport store with a modern, friendly work environment.

At every stage of the implementation, the employees of Greenie Polska provided professional advice. The process of creating the project involved substantive consultations, so that the combination of knowledge and experience of engineers together with the preferences and wishes of the client created an excellent end result. Undoubtedly, the goal has been achieved – the GO Sport store has gained modern, cost-effective lighting that provides help for employees, convenience for customers and economic profit for the owners.
