Realization of LED lighting in commercial network K&M Delicatessen

Challenge

Family company K&M exists for more than 20 years and has a stable position among convenience chain stores. The offer of the chain store begins at the traditional products, goes through organic food and ends at a gluten-free products. The diverse range of products requires proper exposure, which is the basis of any commercial network, therefore you cannot neglect any element contributing to the interior style, which is the showcase of a specific place, as well as the first stage of contact with the customer.

In this case our task was to select of the optimal solutions for a linear lighting for one of the K&M shops located on the Trakt Brzeski street 62 in Warsaw’s Wesoła District.

Implementation

We have realized the project by using the T8 Greenie Professional LED 10W 60cm tubes, with color temperature of 4000-4500K (natural color). Color rendering index (CRI) was more than 80. Led tubes were mounted in a raster fixtures. It is easy to see in the pictures, that such a large shopping area with a diverse product offer and variety of colors  must be evenly illuminated by bright light with a high color rendering index.

The final result

We have managed to achieve precisely such a result. The whole trade area shows its in full colors. The implemented color of LED tubes has matched well the spacious interior with a large number of windows. This is another project realized by our company with solid benefits for the customer such as energy savings and prolonged duration of service life.

Previously installed 18W fluorescent lamps with ballast (4 pcs in the luminaire) were able to consume up to 80W for the entire luminaire. While consumption of such luminaire with Greenie lamps is 40W. This is a classic example of self-paying off investment. Apart from the financial benefits, there is also a matter of endurance. With Greenie Professional LED tubes,  we can enjoy the light at same level of intensity for a much longer time.

This means that the return on investment is very quick and allows you to gain rational  benefits from the exchange. Moreover, a significant reduction in the failure of light sources, prevents the recurring need of replacing burned out lamps.

In summary, the use of fluorescent Greenie LED Professional T8 had a positive impact on every aspect of the operation of the entire lighting system. Better performance, efficiency, and reduced failure rate.
